How to handle Anxiety and Depression




Mental health and wellness are a topic that is less spoken of across the globe despite the

number of victims falling prey to mental health issues increasing by the day. Yes, anxiety and

depression happen to be the biggest killers, almost on par with the number of deaths due to

This will keep you occupied, and you will also find some happiness and joy in pursuing your hobbies and interests. If you are not in touch with hobbies, just try different things like reading a book, gardening, watching a movie, painting, or anything until you find something that catches your interest.


Try Supplements or Change your diet

Food can play a big role in balancing our mental health levels. Skipping meals or eating too little is more likely to make you anxious and depressed; therefore, make sure to eat enough food that is healthy and rich in nutrients and energy. Foods like omega-3 fatty acids, lemons, green tea, and dark chocolate are proven to be good at helping one cope with anxiety and depression.

Including these in your daily diet will bring positive results to your mental health. Also, limit the intake of caffeine and alcoholic drinks as these are well-known to trigger feelings of depression, helplessness, and anxiety.
